Learnig Maths
Students went down to the patio to learn in a creative way, kinds of triangles. As usual they enjoyed this outdoor activity.

Gallery Walk
Grade 4 A and Alpha had a Gallery Walk where they presented their findings about the Inca Culture. Each student chose the way in which he/she would make the presentation, that is why we had a variety of presentations, some made creative models, some made posters and other brochures and samples of what they researched.

Under the organising theme, "How we organise ourselves"; Grade 4 students went to visit El Congreso de la República where they were taught about the history of it and how the congress works.

Visit to Museo de la Cultura Peruana
Under the organising theme How we express ourselves, grade 4 students made a visit to Museo de la Cultura Peruana; where they were able to see many Peruvian art expressions and experimenting how artisans work through an art activity proposed by the museum.

MOTHER’S DAY ACTIVITY
Grade 4 mother’s and their children had a great time at the cafeteria on Friday May 7th. The students sang a lovely song to their moms and telling them through a card how much they love them. They also had great fun playing games and sharing a delicious snack.

STORY TELLER
The students had a great time listening to the story teller who came to our school with a nice presentation which amused them and made them participate actively throughout the development of the story.

Practical maths
Los alumnos de Primer a Cuarto Grado participan cada martes en Practical maths, un programa de desarrollo de habilidades de razonamiento y solución de problemas a través de la manipulación de material concreto, el cual se desarrolla en forma simultánea en las aulas de estos grados. Los alumnos rotan de aula en aula segùn sus necesidades y su propio ritmo. Lo novedoso del programa, es que mientras nuestros alumnos trabajan en las diferentes actividades de Practical Maths y desarrollan sus habilidades de pensamiento, al mismo tiempo están desarrollando sus habilidades sociales, de comunicaciòn, de automanejo e investigación. Asimismo, les ayuda a reforzar actitudes de independencia, responsabilidad, compromiso, respeto y colaboración.
