Assessment

Assessment is a comprehensive and continuous process.  Therefore, students are constantly evaluated taking into account the development of their abilities, attitudes and progress related to the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.

In addition, during the seventh week of each term, students from Grade 1 to 5 will be involved in performance assessment tasks.  Throughout the year parents are informed about their child’s progress through conferences and report cards.  Conferences take place during the first and third term.  These take the form of a parent tutor conference, a student led conference or a three way conference.  The attendance of parents is a must.  The report card is handed out at the end of the second and fourth term.  This provides information on the child’s general progress and performance.
