On Wednesday 7th July, Grade 1 to Grade 5 students prepared an Assembly to say thank you to the teachers. You can see more photos in the Gallery Section.

On Thursday 17th June, Upper Nursery to Kindergarten children celebrated Father's Day by playing a game of football, singing a song and sharing a buffet with their fathers.

Grade 1 to 5 students sang two beautiful songs to their fathers and shared a delicious breakfast.

Ms. Janet Lewis attended the conference this year in Buenos Aires. During the AGM she was presented with a certificate of membership to the Latin American Heads Conference. The theme of the conference was "Education for Sustainable Development" which we would like to promote in Hiram Bingham.

Our annual Speech Day & Prize Giving Ceremony took place on 18th December. We were honoured to have Mr. James Goldsworthy, a representative of the British Peruvian Chamber of Commerce with us as our guest speaker. Also we were proud to welcome Patricia Loureiro, an ex-student who graduated from Hiram Bingham in 1991 and has been practising as a dentist since 1996.

Once again Hiram Bingham produces some of the best results in Peru. 
Since we believe that the IB Diploma programme is for all students we have some excellent results to report.  Our average was just a little lower than last year but our overall passing percentage was again very high, just below 80%.  Our students worked very hard over the two years and so managed to produce these very good results. Congratulations to all the students in Promotion 2009 and their teachers.
