After School Activities (ASA)

The ASA Workshops (After School Activities) were created as an important addition to the school’s educational programme. These workshops inspire our students to discover their passion for sports or the arts by enhancing and developing the specific skills of each discipline. Attendance is not obligatory, but every year around 70% of our students are involved in at least one ASA activity.

We have Pre Primary ASA workshops, for our Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten students, where they will have their first experiences in collective sports and artistic workshops. We offer swimming, basketball, volleyball, football, karate, arts, mindfulness and dance.

For our students from Grade 1 to Grade 11, we have two ASA programmes:

ASA Sports, these workshops allow students to continue adopting the habits and skills that will benefit their physical and mental health. The programme includes football, basketball, volleyball, karate, chess, gymnastics, table tennis, and swimming. ASA Sports are planned to demonstrate the knowledge and development of skills acquired through participation in sports events or representing HB in the different ADCA championships representing HB in the different ADCA championships, which allow students to measure their skills against other schools that make up this association.

ASA Arts, these workshops have two general artistic fields: visual arts (painting and sculpture), and interpretive arts (dance, music, and theatre). We seek to develop our students’ affective, organizational, and artistic skills and boost their creative and intellectual capacities through different techniques and the manipulation of different materials, with which our students learn to express their emotions and thoughts through art.
