ISCA

Hiram Bingham has been participating every year since 2011 in the programme of the Independent Schools Cultural Alliance (ISCA). The programme itself has existed for over 40 years and takes place in England every July, where more than 250 students are received from schools in the USA, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and Brazil.

During a three week period the students (aged between 14 and 16 years old), learn about the culture and history of England, visiting both historic and more modern sites, whilst at the same time interacting with students from other countries. Students live in a traditional English independent boarding school, many of which are centuries old. The schools where we normally stay during the ISCA programme are:

Charterhouse

Cranleigh School

The trip provides students with a profound immersion in British culture, through the campus experiences of sports and activities in addition to the many visits that take place.
